The Can Do Chronicles is a book filled with motivation, encouragement and ideas for everyone who wants to:
- take the “BUT” out of “YES, BUT”
- stop the one-step-forward-three-steps-back life journey that gets you “nowhere fast!”
- stop swimming (or treading water) in the negative soup
- learn healthier and more satisfying ways to deal with employment/unemployment, health, financial and other life challenges
- meet personal or work goals so you can move to your “next level” and then beyond!
In October 2013, I self-published The Can Do Chronicles on as an e-book on amazon.com and in December 2014, I published the book in paperback. Check them out here.
Anyone dealing with life’s serious problems — in other words, anyone alive — can profit from the CAN DO frame of mind. Reader comment on amazon.com
The Can Do Chronicles is the story of three challenging years – of job and career crises, of getting a new hip and going through chemo – and the lasting change that the challenges and victories have made to my heart and soul. Changes that I feel called to share with the wider world.
Living the journey of those years, blogging for much of that time and writing this e-book, have allowed me to sort, ponder, re-sort and clarify my personal world view.
Simply put, my world view is CAN DO.
Over this time, I worked hard to develop – and sometimes try to dismiss! – the little voice deep within that has called me, urged me and inspired me to write about CAN DO. Writing this book, by definition, has required me to own CAN DO fully, deeply and without hesitation. I have. And, I believe that I am called to share my story. And so I say “YES” to the little voice deep within that wants to tell this story.
I invite you to read the book – and ask you to let others in your world know about The Can Do Chronicles, too.
The more faithfully you listen to the voices within you, the better you will hear what is sounding outside. Dag Hammarskjold
